A Single Man

Style lives in this film! It is a debut from Tom Ford and Tom has styled this film impeccably. Set in November, 1962 in LA, it tells a story of a British professor who has lost his partner. Collin Firth plays the lead and he was dressed immaculately from his crisp white shirts to his cufflinks, and to his tie bar. I love the frames that he wore in the film. To me Collin has never looked that good and he topped it up with his British accent. It is like having my favourite banana pudding with vanilla ice cream at Delicious. By the way, Julianne Moore also looks gorgeous and do check out her beehive.
The mood of A Single Man is quite dark and depressing, but it also tells us to appreciate the seemingly smaller moments in life (plus the clothes and furniture), which some of us tend to ignore. I do encourage you to watch this film, as not only it is full of eye candy but there is a lesson that all of us can learn from it.
