"I can hear the decadence calling!"

The girls still have it! From the 80s to now, the girls manage to captivate me, not just fashion wise but most importantly, character wise.
Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte' s characters are fun to watch and you can relate to them on a certain level. I personally can relate to the friendship that these four women have and how hard they work to ensure that no partners and babies will break that magical bond that they have.
The scenes in Morocco are scenic and decadent (in a good way). The dresses are fabulous and I love Carrie's style at the souq. I also love Sam's red dress. However, my favourite dress is Miranda's dress that she wears to Stanford's wedding. That dress is simply stunning. It is like looking at Madam Kwan's banana fritters with vanilla ice cream; nice to look at and yummy!
I do take note some of the weaknesses in SATC 2. The story line could have been tighter; Carrie's dialogue with Big when she returns from the vacation and Miranda standing up against her male boss. Samantha and Charlotte's characters are well developed and their stories are well told too. Nevertheless, SATC 2 is still entertaining and come one, this is no heavy drama! So, put on your Manolos and hit the theatre with your girlfriends.
Enjoy!

Carrie On!

I saw this top at a boutique called Khai in Bangsar last Saturday and I just love its sheerness and the details on the sleeves and the back (RM200++). This would be perfect over a white tank top. You can style it up with those black Balenciaga pants (RTW Spring 2010) and finish it off with Lanvin's nude ankle strap heels (RTW Spring 2010). Do not forget that cute clutch that you bought in Kuta, Bali and that chain neklace that you haggled at Chatuchak Market, Bangkok.

Shall We Dance?

YSL's Spring 2010: Rose Sandals. I just love the rose and the thorn heel. All that you have to do now is to find a dance partner!

Are you Ms. Bradshaw or Ms. Badshaw?

What separates Ms. Bradshaw from the rest? Is it what she wears or how she carries herself? It is the way she speaks and carries herself. She wears McQueen, Dior, Gucci and she still knows what to say and how to behave in public. So, are you really stylish or only your clothes that sream "Look at me! I'm stylish!"?

Not many stylish individuals epitome the true meaning of style. Many of them lack in those two areas and even those Louboutins cannot help them! I have seen many stylish KLites in Bukit Bintang, The Curve, Bangsar and KLCC, and yes, I was impressed with their sense of style but this was before I heard most of them talked and behaved. A good example is having the decency to say "thank you" when someone holds the lift for you or another example is the way you walk.

Please remember that even if you try to overload yourself with Giuseppe Zanotti's first jewelry collection (rings, cuffs and bracelets), necklaces from Zoe Chicco (zoechicco.com) with that cute top by Alexander Wang (SS10), a white tank top from Topshop, Stella McCartney's jeans (rolled up) and you finish it off with oh those so adorable Dior's wedges, trying so hard to achieve that crazy-chic look. Well...you might pull it off but if you do not know how to carry yourself, you will just be seen as crazy and that is not chic!

My point is that you must learn social skills before you style yourself. Money can indeed buy you the latest and hottest trends from London, Paris, Milan and Tokyo but hey! money can also allow you to register yourself for English lessons and social etiquette classes.

Think about that!
